Spacious, nicely decorated home (120 m2) with a cozy, enclosed garden (380 m2), facing a vineyard. Wifi, satellite and cabule tv available. Perfect for a relaxing holiday, close to a range of beautiful beaches (6 km), Unesco monuments and authentic villages. Located between Mafra (2 km) and Ericeira (7 km) and close to Lisbon and the airport (a 30 minute drive).

ABOUT THE HOUSE 

 

The cottage is set in a small village with just a church and cafe in a very quiet street with 10 houses, all with natural local stone façades that blend perfectly in the landscape. The sunny living/dining room with fireplace has French doors that give access to a south facing terrace and a private garden. Perfect for reading a book, sipping a glass of wine or al fresco dinning.

 

The house has 3 bedrooms (one with balcony/veranda) and 2 bathrooms (one with bath/shower and one with a walk-in shower). A cot and high chair are available upon request. Have a look at the photo gallery.

ABOUT THE SURROUNDINGS 

 

The nearest beach is Foz do Lizandro (6 km) - one of the nicest beaches with convenient facilities in the surroundings of Lisbon. There are 15 surf schools in Ericeira for those who want to learn how to surf, horse riding is possible (at only 1,4 km) swimming pool and tennis courts are close by (3 km: indoor and outdoor pool), as is an adventure park (7 km). Several outstanding golf courses are within a 30 min drive.

 

Ericeira (7 km) - World Surf Reserve since 2011 - is an authentic fisherman village and beach town with a very nice vibe, also known for the quality of its delicious seafood and fish.  Mafra (2 km) is known for its sumptious palace, monastry and basilic and for its delicious pastry shops. Sintra and its Unesco monuments are 20 km away and the medieval walled town of Óbidos and the monastries of Alcobaça and Batalha, both Unesco world heritage, are also easy to reach and form interesting daytrips.
